This past weekend, we successfully held the September instalment of the Works Workshop in Singapore, which saw the participation of more than seventy individuals who are all enthusiastic about DevOps. The Works Workshop is a series of technical focus sessions conducted by senior developers from Works, and admission is granted to attendees who have pre-registered and received an invitation.
Temitayo Olufuwa, a DevOps Engineer at Works and a member of the Pluto TV team, facilitated the session. In his current role, Temitayo uses technologies such as Ansible, Cloudformation, and Terraform to automate the deployment of infrastructure and resources. During the session, Temitayo discussed the advantages of utilising Terraform, Ansible, and CircleCI to execute Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
The goal of the workshop was to demonstrate to the participants, who included experienced programmers and those who were just beginning to explore programming, how to utilise the three tools to streamline mundane tasks and maximise efficiency.
Temitayo’s presentation slides may be seen here for those who were unable to attend.
