Our dedication to promoting equality in the IT industry motivates us at Works, and it was our privilege to contribute to the Darkmira PHP event organised in Fortaleza, Brazil, on the 8th and 9th of June. Everyone should have a chance to participate in the tech sector, and we are taking significant measures to make this happen.
We were able to assist 40 students from a public school located in the impoverished area of Russa which is situated 168 kilometres away from Fortaleza, in meeting their accommodation and transportation requirements. These students could then participate in additional training sessions focusing on PHP, improving their comprehension of the features and best practices of this programming language, and were given a warm welcome by the local tech community.
As part of the event, two of our specialists in PHP were invited to deliver presentations at several conferences and workshops, enabling them to enhance their expertise in the latest techniques for proficient PHP programming.
Community engagement is a crucial part of our business at Works, and we take immense pride in creating opportunities for individuals who otherwise may not have access to them.
