At Works, we are committed to providing equal opportunities in the IT industry, so we were delighted to take part in the Darkmira PHP event held in Fortaleza, Brazil, on 8th and 9th June. We believe that everyone should be able to participate in the IT sector and we are doing our utmost to ensure that this happens.
Forty students from the public school in Russa, a deprived area situated 168 kilometres from Fortaleza, benefited from our support with their housing and transportation needs. Consequently, these students could access further training with PHP, increasing their understanding of this programming language’s features and accepted methods, as well as being fully embraced by the local technical community.
Two of our PHP specialists were also invited to present at a range of conferences and workshops, offering them the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of optimal PHP coding techniques.
At Works, we firmly believe that engaging in community service is an essential component of conducting business, and we are immensely proud to be able to provide opportunities to those who may not otherwise have access to them.
