Headspace makes use of mindful techniques and guided meditation to reduce stress, boost alertness and focus, and encourage a well-balanced, more satisfying and restful way of living for its users.
The growing customer base of the company called for an expansion of its support services, and the Customer Experience team predicted this. They decided that hiring more engineers was essential in addition to the current service agents to manage the higher volume of queries within a reasonable time frame.
When Headspace decided to recruit its first remote developer, Samora Dake from Ghana, they chose to partner with Works. They were seeking an experienced developer who could contribute immediately without requiring resources for refining their recruitment process. Samora’s exceptional performance included spearheading the development of Headspace’s content management system and winning an office hackathon.
Headspace was pleased with the performance of Samora and quickly added four more engineers from Works to their team.
