Workplace Presentations on Diversity and Inclusion in Technology

It’s often said that while most people want to change the world, they forget to change themselves. Author: Leo Tolstoy

The theme for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2022 is “Each for Equal,” which reminds us of our personal responsibility to take action in creating a more fair society. By addressing prejudice and expanding our perspectives to acknowledge the achievements of women, we can help build a world that is more equitable and just. It’s crucial to bear in mind, however, that we can only work on changing things that we are already aware of and understand. As a result, we should aim to continuously learn and develop our understanding of gender equality and the role we each have to play in promoting it.

To address the challenges to inclusivity in the technology industry, we conducted a webinar titled “Individual Responsibility Towards Inclusion in Tech.” The webinar was attended by a diverse group of women from all over Asia who participated in an enlightening conversation about what it means to be inclusive in the tech industry, methods for combating subconscious bias, and steps we can take to eliminate systemic obstacles.

Join us in disseminating the news of how we are utilising technology to create a more just world.
