Job description
Description:
- Mainly develops for Qualcomm SoC, Android platform
- Develop the audio framework , and integrate/develop the audio application
- Understand the principle of I2S, PCM, Mixer, ALSA, tinyALSA , audioHAL structures
- Integrate the audio voice solution (from 3rd party) into Qualcomm (mainly but not limited)
- Discuss with 3rd party vendors and algorithm solution providers.
- Basic English is must for spoken with 3rd party
- Working with audio engineer to integrate audio parameters (e.g. EQ, gain settings)
Qualifications:
- Academic background in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 6~10 experience, best from mobile/tablet industry, familiar with Android framework
- Hands on for Qualcomm and NXP
- Experience in JackAudio, PulseAudio, PortAudio
- Familiar ALSA/Tinyalsa/audio Mixer architecture
- Hands on experience in Android AudioHAL
- Hands on experience in Codec porting
- Hands on experience in Porting and tuning 3rd party DSP
- Teamwork and resourceful problem solver.
- Outstanding communication skills capable of presenting persuasively to all levels of the organization in an articulate
