Job description
A U.S.-based company that is providing businesses with support on turnaround management and performance enhancement, is looking for an Android Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with teams while discussing complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences. By enabling businesses to seamlessly combine operations, performance improvement, and value generation, the company helps them transform areas of stagnation into growth to achieve long-term results. Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement product and commercial strategy with engineering, design, and other counterparts
- Develop creative features and products that our users will love
- Participate in all phases of development, including technical planning, design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch
- Develop revolutionary solutions and thrive in ambiguity and even failure
- Review code and design documentation, and comment on product specifications and mockups
- Work with a group of thoughtful, nimble, and driven engineers
- Create and design standards that enhance developer workflows and offer best practices recommendations
- Keep learning and developing both your technical and non-technical skills
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an Android Engineer
- Demonstrable experience working with Android/Kotlin, modularization, and A/B testing
- Prolific experience with large-scale refactoring, experimentation, large-scale applications, unit testing, and screenshot/snapshot testing
- Extensive experience with GraphQL, REST, and HTTP basics
- Prior experience designing maintainable APIs is desirable
- Ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule
- Excellent entrepreneurial spirit and organizational skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
