Role overview

• Twilio Segment – Customer Data Platform

• Google Analytics (Inc. Firebase)

• Experience creating tailored dashboards using PowerBi

• Experience in data management, data warehousing, data quality, data lakes, data marts

• Deep understanding of data platform technologies, SQL Server, ETL/ELT tools and techniques, Data Visualization tools and cloud data platform principles.

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions & Dataflow

• Advanced investigative and data analysis skills

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Hands-on data solutions experience with a CDP vendor - Adobe Experience Platform, Tealium, Salesforce, Hightouch or Braze Customer Experience Platform

• Amplitude Product Analytics


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 4-6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer for mid-level position processing/transforming complex datasets, and 1-3 years for junior position

What would you do here
  • Build and configure Axi’s Customer Data Platform (CDP) using Segment
  • Analyze system requirements, implement data migration strategies, and ensure efficient and secure storage of company information
  • Develop data architecture to significantly impact organizational success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Marketing) to design scalable data pipelines and implement CDP features/enhancements
  • Build Power BI dashboards to support business insights
  • Develop database solutions for storing and retrieving company information
  • Install and configure information systems for functionality
  • Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
  • Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
  • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
  • Improve system performance through tests, troubleshooting, and integration of new elements
  • Optimize new and current database systems
  • Define security and backup procedures
  • Work with a team of data specialists & analysts to measure Product & onboarding effectiveness and marketing activities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data integration and ETL processes using GCP and Azure services/tools
  • Create new data pipelines to enrich Axi’s CDP
  • Support Marketing Data Warehouse and synchronize channel cost data daily
  • Proactively derive insights and data from Axi’s platforms for digital experience design and strategy, contributing to executive reporting
  • Responsible for maturing Axi's data model facilitating CDP audience activations for Marketing/Sales & broader department
  • Stay updated on industry developments, trends, latest data architecture techniques, and tools
  • Adhere to all Axi’s policies and procedures for compliance with internal processes
