Data Science Lead
Required skills:
- Python data pipeline and ETL
- Machine learning/statistical modeling
Nice-to-have skills:
- Marketing mixed modeling experience
- Sales lift study
Responsibilities:
- Editing and creation of smart models to help our brand clients make the most informed decisions possible in allocating their marketing & eCommerce spend
- Thought leadership and product development leadership for the creation of new and existing statistical models, aimed at driving the maximum return, budget savings, and optimal business results for our clients
- Mine, aggregate and analyze data from databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies
- Frequent collaboration with the Head of Engineering to develop technical solutions, often involving coding and/or editing existing code, to help facilitate and automate the normalization, summarization, and automation of disparate types of data for our proprietary analytics platform.
They are still deciding if this person will be managing others.

The Ideal Candidate (not hard requirements):
Has a mixture of tactical data science such as:
--- mixed-media modeling
--- user segmentation analysis
--- forecasting
--- big data retailer modeling
Has some plus business acumen. For ex:
--- solving clients’ tech/data-related problems
--- able to articulate concepts in laypersons’ terms
Has prior ad/marketing agency experience
