Job description

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
● BS Computer Science degree or equivalent industry experience
● 5+ years of Database Development and Design experience, including concepts such as data normalization, table partitioning and optimization
● Experience in/with more than one of the following will be advantageous:
o MS SQL Server (T-SQL)
o MySQL and/or PostgreSQL (PL/SQL)
o NoSQL (DynamoDB, Firebase)
o High-transaction database systems (1,00s of records/second)
o Stored procedures
o Index planning and optimization
o Table Partitioning
o Logging
o Agile development methodologies
o Distributed source control systems (git)
o Message Queues (RabbitMQ/AMQP, SQS, Kafka)
