Job description

A U.S.-based company that is determined to utilize the power of technology to build a platform that provides users with socially impactful solutions, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for ideating and implementing new solutions or technologies for improvements. The company is developing a world-class app that enables customers to discover mission-driven brands. The company has managed to secure more than $15.2mn during their Series A round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Rewrite existing code to ensure compliance with specified guidelines
Work with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders, and product managers to develop high-quality products
Innovate, recommend and implement new solutions/technologies for improvements
Mentor and guide fellow developers on the best engineering practices to be followed

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
Extensive experience working with JavaScript, React, and Shopify
Demonstrable experience working in an agile environment
Excellent English communication skills
