Job description

A U.S.-based company that is utilizing modern cutting-edge technologies to build a video platform for events and publishers, is looking for a Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate must be highly proactive and will be working closely with the CTO to plan sprints and make technology choices. The company is helping clients to successfully execute virtual and hybrid events by providing them access to professional video broadcast engineers, event managers, and support technicians. This position requires some overlap with the Israel time zone and will be a long-term, full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and build cutting-edge live video SaaS platform
Work with the design team to approve hi-fidelity designs for development
Offer your opinions and challenge technology and methodology choices
Translate design work into a working front-end for the applications
Work closely with the back-end development team to hook into the company’s API that is built using NodeJS

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
2+ years of experience working with React and TypeScript
Extensive experience with Node.js, AWS, and Kubernetes
Prolific experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Nice to have some experience with CI/CD and Media
Ability to solve problems fast, in a collaborative and open way
Excellent English communication skills
