Ginza Xiaoma is Asia’s leading Hermès curator, collector, and reseller. We are one of Asia’s most prestigious Hermès boutiques with our flagship store located in the heart of Ginza, Tokyo. As Japan’s #1 largest Hermes’s specialty store, we have a rare collection of more than 400 items and handle over 4,000 Hermes bags, apparel, accessories and other rare collector items.

We have just expanded our business to Singapore and we are looking for for a self-motivated and high performing Intern to join our new team in Singapore. You will thrive in this position if you are goals-driven, strategic and tactical and have a growth mindset. Working with the global team in Singapore and marketing team in Japan, this is a precious chance to gain international exposure and develop essential interpersonal skills in a global luxury brand.

As a Frontend Developer, your main responsibility will be to support our website and deliver our customers world-class user experience.

Role

Build new user-facing features while maintaining old ones
Proficiency in JavaScript with a knack for getting the visuals right
Quality checks on desktop vs mobile sites, for both design and content
Make sure web pages are optimized for best speed, and scalability
Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages
Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft

Responsibilities

Currently pursuing a B.S. (or higher) (expected graduation date between 2022 to 2025) in Computer Science or graduated from a related technical field like Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
Build responsive, mobile-first web applications to support our rapid growth
Some experience with VueJS, ReactJS
Understand server-side CSS
Eementui and interactive service Axios is an added advantage
