Job description

A U.S.-based company that is on a mission to connect people through sports while leveraging cutting-edge technology, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for implementing quality industry standards and conducting regular code reviews. The company is developing a platform to help manage sports and make it easier for participants in different sports to communicate and coordinate. The company has managed to successfully secure more than $56mn in funding so far.

Job Responsibilities:

Take ownership of and design software system architecture
Design scalable web services and applications to enhance user experience
Take care of the server-side, by writing clean and reusable code
Identify technical bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve software efficiency
Initiate communication with various internal teams to define the scope and scale of software projects

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack Engineer
Extensive expertise in JavaScript and Ruby
Skills in TypeScript, React, Redux, and Ruby on Rails will be an added advantage
Proficient in spoken and written English communication
