Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is creating a web application for financial datasets while leveraging world-class technologies, is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy MERN Developer. The developer will be in charge of analyzing the user comments and data to improve the platform’s overall user experience. Using the company's platform, fundamental analysts can collaboratively crowdsource financial data. This will be a long-term position requiring a significant overlap with the CST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Based on the Figma prototype screens, comprehend the project's scope
Provide a clear description of a proposed NoSQL database data model based on entities seen and use cases from the prototype
Create a research notebook where users may write content
Ensure that the notebook will automatically save and support in-line database queries
Contribute to the creation of a dataset system that turns text data into time series data that are in line with financial metrics

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end developer
Demonstrable experience working with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js
Extensive experience with TypeScript, NoSQL, Redux, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
Familiarity with Auth0 Authentication
Prior experience building a few MERN-stack MVPs from scratch
Exceptional team-building and interpersonal skills
Fluent in conversational and written English
