Job description

An upcoming multi-brand platform for fashion and lifestyle is looking for a Node.js Engineer. The developer will be responsible for creating web and mobile infrastructures and building new products and features for the company. The developer will be among the company’s first engineers to develop its products internally. The company is on a mission to help a broader audience to contribute and adapt to a sustainably driven fashion and lifestyle. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and get inspired.

Job Responsibilities:

Write secure, maintainable, testable, and modular code (follow SOLID principles)
Build, maintain, and deploy new and existing functionality to all our environments
Implement solutions to constantly improve our backend architecture
Set up CI/CD processes and pipelines for a faster code delivery
Collaborate with the design and product team on building new features
Actively participate in discussions, planning, and business meetings

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
6+ years of experience working as a Back-end Developer
6+ years of experience working with Node.js and GraphQL
Experience with Python and Java/.NET is nice to have
Experience with any one of the following technologies: AWS, GCP, or Azure
Production experience with databases and designing scalable database infrastructure
Experience with web scraping, data feed ingestion, and transformation at scale
Strong understanding of CI/CD implementation in Azure, AWS, or Google
Nice to have some startup experience
Excellent problem-solving, collaborative, and playful attitude
Fluency in English
