Job description

We are seeking to hire a skilled Software Developer to help with the development and maintenance of projects (Web applications and AWS Lamda microservices) developed using PHP/Laravel Framework and JS/TS/Node.js Framework. You will join a team of Developers who build and support the above systems. You will be involved in the brainstorming of conceptualization, system design, development, testing, and support of various projects.

Responsibilities

Build efficient, scalable, reusable code modules, web application, APIs and microservices
Maintaining existing systems and troubleshooting production issues
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
Drive coding discipline
Write scalable high-performance code that works in multiple unique environments on-premise as well as on the cloud
Participate in technical design discussions and document technical knowledge and design

Requirements

5+ years of Software Development experience
Experienced with PHP and Laravel framework
Experienced with JS/TS and Node.js framework
Experience in working with AWS managed services
Experience in working with container-based technologies is an advantage
Experience with git workflow and unit testing
Familiarity in agile software development and good knowledge of it’s best practices and trends
Great logical thinking and attention to details
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
Team player who is self-driven and proactive in learning new technologies and skills
Comfortable picking up and maintaining code developed by previous developers
