PHP Developer - Indonesia (Recruitment managed by EPG on behalf of our client, you will be directly hired by our client if successful)

Job Brief

You’ll be joining a skilled team of developers, working closely with the CTO & Head of Product and given a lot of opportunity to drive the direction of the product forward. We want someone who has enthusiasm working within a team and really makes impact within the business!

Responsibilities

Understanding of software development fundamentals and great communication skills
MySQL database knowledge and solid understanding of database fundamentals is paramount
Assist with all development lifecycle phases
Troubleshoot, test and maintain softwares and databases
Create detailed specifications
Write clean code
Implement and develop new features and procedures
Adhere to industry best practices
Experience with using version control systems, Bitbucket Git by preference

Requirements

Proven software development experience in PHP
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Leadership skills and willing to take on new challenges within the team
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc.
Excellent experience in PHP/Laravel (Minimum 4-6 years commercial experience necessary is a must)
Experienced in developing RESTful API services
Knowledge in Amazon AWS, EC2, RDS, S3, Microsoft Azure architecture and services
Fluent in English
Experience with automated testing and deployment tools
