Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is developing world-class online learning solutions for students is looking for a React Lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team. The company is determined to leverage the power of modern technology to bring revolutionary changes to the education industry. The company has managed to secure more than $8.5mn in funding so far. This position requires a significant overlap with the IST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate with a five-member team
Take charge of and efficiently execute client communication
Work closely with the product owners to translate feature requests into epics
Efficiently communicate with stakeholders about any updates in deliverables/timelines

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 7-9+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
4+ years of experience working with React
2+ years of experience working with Angular and related technologies
Prior experience with Unit testing in Jest and Enzyme
Extensive experience with AWS EC2, S3, AWS Lambda
Demonstrable experience working with Redux, TypeScript, and Object Oriented JavaScript
Experience working with a DevOps team using CI/CD
Strong knowledge of front-end code deployment over any cloud preferably AWS
Prolific experience with version control tools like bitbucket and Gitlab
Experience working with back-end team for API integration with front-end
Knowledge of Jenkins integrations
Solid knowledge of creating application flow diagrams and effort estimations
Excellent English communication skills
