KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for building the ML/AI models to apply and improve for E-commerce product discovery: filtering & searching, recommendation, personalization.
Work on NLP (Natural Language Processing) capability improvement and query understanding
Work with the engineering and product management teams on productionize and deploy ML models.
Monitor and develop evaluation strategies for measuring both model performance and real work impact.
Identify and validate business use cases that can be solved with AI, test, deploy, and measure them.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python (required), C/C++, Julia, Rust.
Experience with one or more of the following: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Ranking systems, Recommendation systems.
Experience with data wrangling, data cleaning and prep, dimensionality reduction using Spark, SQL.
Experience with Big Data concepts, tools, cloud solutions and architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong understanding of statistics, experimental design, and measurements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master/Ph.D with a focus in A.I/Machine Learning.
Having a track record of researching topics of E-commerce search and discovery domain.
