Job description
A rapidly-growing company that has a global presence in the transportation and heavy machinery industry is looking for a Senior Database Developer. The selected candidate will be collaborating with the Customer Data and Marketing Tech teams to create effective, scalable solutions. The company supplies heavy automobiles, construction-grade machinery, marine and industrial drive systems, and financial services. The company has successfully managed to secure more than $1.1bn in funding so far.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy high-volume, low-latency apps that give high availability and performance for mission-critical systems.
- Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle and write code that is well-designed, testable, and effective
- Lead team refactoring initiatives and take part in routine code reviews to help procedures
- Ensure that all irregularities are reported and documented to the proper resources for correction
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a database developer
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL
- Extensive understanding of Database administration
- Great English communication skills, both spoken and written
