Job description

A U.S.-based company that is providing businesses with digital engagement and social media solutions is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining high engineering and code quality standards while mentoring junior engineers. The company’s world-class customer engagement technology is enabling businesses to achieve their targets and engage with customers better. The company has managed to securely raise $13mn+ in funding. This will be a full-time, long-term position.

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and build scalable development tools and infrastructure
Assess possible cybersecurity and related threats to ensure the security of all systems
Gauge the needs of internal and external stakeholders and translate them into future product roadmaps
Test, analyze, and strive to improve code quality
Conduct reviews to ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
Identify technical bottlenecks and provide smart solutions to eliminate them
Collaborate and mentor other software developers and software engineers
Established processes and guidelines and ensure their smooth execution

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
Expert in Resource Management, Cost Management, and Security
Proficient Azure and Cloud Engineering skills
Some experience with YAML, and CI/CD are nice to have
Proficient in English communication, spoken and written
