Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company that is developing an innovative next-gen cryptocurrency trading platform is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for creating web apps that are scalable and can handle millions of users. The company is on a mission to transform the future of finance by implementing revolutionary technology to help customers meet their wealth-making ambitions. The company has managed to secure more than $8.5mn+ during their Seed round of funding. This position requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with product owners to fully grasp the specifications, and foster good teamwork among the many disciplines of design and product management
Contribute strongly to the product vision and lead the team's planning
Design and construct highly scalable and reliable products in collaboration with the team and all relevant stakeholders within the organization
To find the best fixes for issues, iterate with back-end engineers, product managers, and designers
Use intricate workflow and visualization in online applications to provide consumers with intuitive material
Mentor and guide younger members of the team
Design user interfaces that are simple to use yet powerful and highly technological

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer
6+ years of experience with React.js, REST, and GraphQL APIs
Prior experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
Extensive experience with Angular, Node.js, and GitHub
Prior experience working in a technical leadership position, like an architect or tech lead
Experience developing an efficient strategy for high-impact customer-facing projects
Must have some understanding of modern web applications design architecture
Experience developing good API design patterns, performance, and scale
Nice to have some solid experience with Distributed system development
Fluent in spoken and written English
