Primary Job Duties

Consult with users, analyze requirements and recommend technical design and specifications
Develop, test, and implement technical solutions and third-party business integrations
Proactively research and keep abreast of new technologies applied to the company
Debug code for existing programs based on the immediate need
Maintain and update PHP Based Web Applications as required
Troubleshoot system bugs and issues
Mentor Jr. Developers
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge and experience with PHP
Minimum 2 Years of development experience with Yii Framework
Strong knowledge of MySQL or Maria DB
Strong knowledge and experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS3
Strong knowledge of the LAMP stack
Experience with JSON and XML
Familiarity with EAV and MVC design patterns
Familiarity with Git Version Control Software
Familiarity with the use of Project Management Software
Familiarity with Bootstrap, jQuery, and/or VueJS
Knowledge of Docker and related toolsets is a plus
Hard-working and team-oriented
Ability to focus on multiple projects at once and to troubleshoot problems quickly
Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at a given time

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Related Field, Or Equivalent Experience
2+ Years Professional PHP Development Experience using Yii Framework
