Job description

Upscalix is a Melbourne-based digital solution company that caters to both small-sized businesses and large corporations with extensive experience in mobile apps, websites, and business solution software. We help businesses or individuals generate better outcomes and automate tasks, so you can spend time on what matters the most.
We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer interested in building performant on web-based applications!
What You Will Do:
  1. Do custom theme creation
  2. Build components out using ACF
  3. Create responsive styling across mobile and tablet
  4. Import data from previous site and ensuring URLS are same
  5. Match the build to a custom design
  6. Create subtle Animations, rollovers and styling
  7. Design, build and maintain clean, efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  8. Perform testing and create technical documentation
  9. Maintain and adjust existing application codebase include troubleshooting bugs to ensure strong optimization and functionality
  10. Identify company’s user and system requirements for new website, and estimate the time spent on each task
  11. Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
  12. Work as part of a team developing applications and services
  13. Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure
  14. Follow industry best practices
Requirements
  1. 3++ years of experience as Woocommerce Developer
  2. Flexbox/Grid stills are very advantageous
  3. Ability to write well-documented, clean code
  4. Experience creating custom WordPress and Woo Themes
  5. UI, UX, interactivity design experience a huge plus
  6. Experience with GIT version control
  7. Ability to take extreme ownership over your work
  8. Ability to adapt in VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) environment
  9. Willing to work according to Australian time or 6 AM – 3 PM Jakarta Time (9 hours include 1-hour break)
