Software Engineering Manager

We are currently looking for a Software Engineering Manager who can empower our growing team to function at a high level and ensure key projects are delivered with utmost urgency without compromising quality. Successful candidates will demonstrate creative problem solving and analytical skills, are highly interested in people and organizations, and have a proven track record of creating and managing high performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Be both highly technical and an effective people manager
• Mentor and empower a team of high performing engineers
• Run scrum or equivalent agile development process
• Work with research and risk teams to deliver high-impact projects
• Participate in technical design and drive roadmap creation and execution
• Champion engineering excellence, including high code quality and high-performing system designs

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years experience coding in two of the following languages: C/C++, Go, Java, Python
• 3+ years of management experience leading a small to medium sized team of engineers
• Experienced in low latency trading systems and network
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
• Solid foundation in design, data structures and algorithms, and strong analytical and debugging skills
• Scrum master experience is a plus
• Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills
